This, as the poll body dismissed, for lack of merit, the petition of incumbent Mayor Victorino Dennis Socrates to nullify the results of the preparatory recall assembly (PRA) held last July 2.
Of the city’s 528 barangay officials, 312 convened the PRA, saying they have lost confidence in Socrates’ leadership.
