Probers said Ludovico Bañaga, who was shot with caliber .45 pistols, had been campaigning for Puno in Sultan Kudarat since last month.
He was also a known supporter of re-electionist Maguindanao Gov. Zacaria Candao.
Brig. Gen. Roy Kyamko, commander of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, said he has tasked all intelligence units in Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat to help probers track down the gunmen.  J. Unson
