More INC chapels built in Philippines

MANILA, Philippines - The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has declared an “unprecedented growth” over the past six years under the leadership of executive minister Eduardo Manalo.

A total of 1,091 chapels have been built and renovated all over the country since Manalo took over the church’s leadership in September 2009 after the passing of his father, Eraño Manalo, in August 2009, INC spokesman Edwil Zabala said.

“These new chapels are a concrete manifestation of the support given by our members to the church. This is a result of the outpouring of support from INC members who believe in the church’s evangelization efforts,” Zabala said.

New chapels were built in Caloocan, Malabon, Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Pasay, Pasig, Taguig and Quezon City and the provinces.

Zabala said INC members are free to give whatever they can to support efforts to strengthen the church.
