MANILA, Philippines - A man was arrested yesterday morning for joking that he had a bomb while a guard was checking his bag at the Light Rail Transit’s Carriedo station.
Abdurahman Dalidigan, 26, was collared by Police Officer 1 Marco Antonio Bago and PO2 Rodel Adviento, when they heard him saying that he was carrying a bomb while being frisked at the tills at around 8 a.m.
The bag, however, contained several identification cards, Dalidigan’s passport and some medicine.
Dalidigan was charged with violating Presidential Decree 1727, which penalizes the malicious dissemination of deceitful information.
