MANILA, Philippines - Six Chinese tourists were arrested for allegedly using illegal drugs while partying with sex workers at a KTV bar in Pasay City Thursday night.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) anti-illegal drug unit, led by Joel Tovera, raided three rooms at the Avia International bar Thursday night.
The six tourists were among the 15 arrested during the raid.
Cocaine, ecstasy tablets and marijuana were found in one of the three rooms, the NBI said.
The NBI is set to file charges of violation of Section 13 of Republic Act 9165, the dangerous drugs law, which refers to “possession of dangerous drugs during parties, social gatherings or meetings,” against those arrested.
