MANILA, Philippines - The Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, which is run by the Manila City government, has a new digital X-ray machine donated by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc.
Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada received the GE compax digital 40 X-ray machine in a simple turnover ceremony on Monday.
“All city-run hospitals are equipped with modern equipment,” Estrada said.
The X-ray machine is worth P20.7 million.
The donation was made through the effort of 3rd District Councilor Bernie Ang.
