MANILA, Philippines - The Senate Blue Ribbon sub-committee will resume its investigation on allegations of corruption against Vice President Jejomar Binay, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV said yesterday.
Trillanes said he would continue his exposé against Binay during the next hearing on Aug. 20.
He declined to give details of his exposé but said he has the necessary documents and witnesses to support his allegations.
Trillanes said the evidence was sourced from the Makati City hall, with the help of acting Mayor Romulo Peña Jr.
He brushed aside the statements coming from the Vice President’s camp for him to appear before the Court of Appeals, where he is facing P200-million libel suit for claiming that suspended Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay bribed two CA justices.
