MANILA, Philippines - Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista has asked the local police to step up the campaign against carjacking syndicates in the city. He made the appeal after he congratulated the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao, for its successful drive against illegal drugs.
Bautista lauded members of the QCPD for their efforts to make the city a safe, drug-free and peaceful community.
He said the drug stings conducted recently by the QCPD’s anti-narcotics officers had resulted in the arrest of big-time drug dealers and recovery of several kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.
