MANILA, Philippines - The estranged wife of Derek Ramsay yesterday lashed out at the actor for allegedly portraying himself as “untouchable” by dating President Aquino’s sister and television host Kris Aquino.
In a press conference in Makati, Argee Guevarra, lawyer for Mary Christine Jolly Ramsay, said the supposed date of Derek and Kris, which was aired on television Tuesday night, was part of the actor’s strategy.
“He seeks to convey the message to my client, and insinuate even to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima that he is untouchable since he is dating the sister of the President,” Guevarra said.
Derek is facing a complaint for concubinage filed by his wife before the Parañaque prosecutor’s office.
Guevarra said the TV footage showing Derek and Kris on a date while watching a concert could be used as evidence against the actor.
