Instructor suffers heart attack in Manila mall

MANILA, Philippines - A 37-year-old instructor of the Lyceum of the Philippines suffered a heart attack while eating at the food court of the Isetann department store in Sta. Cruz, Manila Wednesday afternoon.

Benedict Cabalbag was having lunch with his sister when he collapsed at around 2 p.m., Senior Police Officer 1 Christian Caparas said. A criminology student brought the victim to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, where he died.

The victim’s sister said Cabalbag suffered from heart enlargement and diabetes.
