MANILA, Philippines - A 42-year-old man suffered of a heart attack after two gunmen shot him in the left leg in Quiapo, Manila Friday.
Roberto Lansangan was rushed to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, where he remains under observation.
The Manila Police District identified the suspects as Percival Laya and Cris Bait.
Police said Lansangan was standing near his house on Fraternal street when the suspects shot him at past 12:30 a.m.
Bait and Laya escaped after the attack, leaving the victim sprawled on the ground.
Investigators have yet to establish the motive for the attempt on Lansangan’s life.
