MANILA, Philippines - The wife of former senator Panfilo Lacson lost a gold earring with diamond to a snatcher in Divisoria on Monday afternoon.
Alice Lacson was walking along Divisoria when Nognog Salonga snatched one of her earrings at around 4 p.m.
She had just finished shopping in Binondo and was on her way back to her vehicle parked at the corner of Sto. Cristo and Juan Luna streets when the incident happened.
Salonga remains at-large. Police arrested his three accomplices.
Marvin Antonio, Ronald Pallega and Benjamin Cabrera served as Salonga’s lookouts, the Manila Police District said.
Robbery charges will be slapped against them.
Sherlon Eguez, the buyer of the earring, was also apprehended.
Eguez will be charged with violation of the Anti-Fencing Law before the city prosecutor’s office.
The suspects are being held at the MPD Station 2.
