MANILA, Philippines - Two employees of the Navotas City government were arrested yesterday morning for allegedly raping a girl who was detained at the local social welfare and development office (SWDO).
According to a police report, Inri Moises Siochi and Ronald Jordenico of the city’s Task Force Disiplina alleged went to the SWDO’s detention center in Barangay Daang Hari at around 2 a.m. and told guards Rolando Patag and Florante Batasol that they were going to talk to the girl.
They took her from the detention center and brought her back at around 5:30 a.m., but did not say were they took her.
While Siochi and Jordenico were about to leave, the girl told the guards the two men raped her. The guards arrested the men and turned them over to the police.
The guards did not say why the girl was being held.
