MANILA, Philippines - A man wanted for rape was arrested at a condominium in Valenzuela City Saturday afternoon.
Edwin Garcia, 35, was apprehended in the Chateau Valenzuela condominium at around 12:35 p.m. after more than three hours’ surveillance, according to city police chief Senior Superintendent Rhoderick Armamento.
Armamento did not elaborate on the case but said Valenzuela Regional Trial Court Branch 171 Judge Maria Nena Santos issued a warrant for Garcia’s arrest on Nov. 28.
Santos set Garcia’s bail at P120,000.
