MANILA, Philippines - Government personnel seized cocaine and shabu, with a street value of at least P121 million, in two separate operations Thursday.
Antonio Uy, 62, was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives for reportedly trying to sell a kilo of shabu in front of the Ramon Magsaysay Tower on Roxas Boulevard in Malate, Manila just before noon.
When Uy searched Uy’s Toyota Camry, they reportedly found a kilo of shabu in a plastic bag and 14 more kilos of the illegal drug in a piece of luggage. The street value of the drugs confiscated from Uy is approximately P77 million.
