MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) will document abuses and discrimination committed against lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgenders (LGBT).
CHR chairperson Etta Rosales said they are coordinating with LGBT organizations for the documentation process so the prosecution of cases would be evidence-based.
She expressed hope the CHR could come up with guidelines on how to distinguish abuses and discrimination related to a person’s sexual preference.
