MANILA, Philippines - Re-electionist Mayor Antonino Calixto and his sister, congressional candidate Emi Calixto-Rubiano, are leading in Pasay City.
As of 5 p.m. yesterday, Calixto – who is running under the Liberal Party – garnered 113,289 votes compared to his nearest rival, Jorge del Rosario, who received 27,591 votes. The third candidate, former mayor Peewee Trinidad, got 21,215 votes.
Rubiano received 124,034 votes compared to her rival, Sonny Quial, who got 23,090 votes.
Poll officials are still canvassing votes at the Cuneta Astrodome.
