MANILA, Philippines - A high school teacher was arrested Saturday for allegedly selling shabu near the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman, Quezon City, an official said yesterday.
Arnulfo Remigio, who teaches at Amparo High School in Caloocan City, was apprehended after he handed a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, PDEA chief Arturo Cacdac Jr. said.
PDEA agents also seized lighters, pieces of aluminum foil and the P500 marked bill used in the transaction from Remigio, who reportedly sells shabu in Quezon City and nearby areas. The PDEA is preparing to file charges against Remigio, Cacdac said.
