MANILA, Philippines - A Manila barangay councilman was arrested and charged for allegedly selling 25 grams of shabu for P100,000 to Caloocan City police officers last week.
Barangay 432 Zone 44 kagawad Albert Balcoz met with undercover police officers, led by Senior Police Officer 2 Arnel Victoriano, along C-3 Road Thursday.
Victoriano, in an affidavit, said an informant helped them transact with Balcoz, who was reportedly “known to sell in bulk to regular clients.â€
Balcoz is being held at the Caloocan police station.
