MANILA, Philippines - Police yesterday filed robbery with homicide charges against a teenager and her two companions for the death of a manager of a company manufacturing car spare parts inside a motel in Pasig City.
Charged before City Prosecutor Rodney Magbanua were the teenager, her boyfriend, Elton Juan, 21, and a certain “Panget,” all residents of Barangay Malanday in Marikina City.
Senior Superintendent Mario Rariza, Pasig City police chief, said the 15-year-old suspect was turned over to the custody of the local social service and welfare department.
The suspects were accused of killing Rodrigo Apuyan, 57, whose body was found Monday at the second floor of the Pitang Suite on Evangelista street, Barangay Santolan.
Apuyan, plant manager of Friction Materials Inc., was stabbed six times in the neck and once in the chest.
