MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two men who had been strangled and stabbed were dumped in Quezon City yesterday.
Senior Police Officer 1 Randy Bantillo said they have yet to identify the two victims, who were found together by a resident at past 5 a.m. along Payatas Road. The discovery was immediately reported to the Batasan Hills police station.
Bantillo said the victims might have been killed somewhere else and were just dumped in the area. He noted that both victims bore strangulation marks around the neck and multiple puncture wounds.
The two victims are estimated to be in their late 20s. One man bore a “Sputnik” tattoo on his back while the other man had the words “Dragon” and “Agila” inscribed on his back.
Bantillo added that one of the men had a clutch bag that contained pictures and identification cards of a man. He said they will try contacting the owner of the clutch bag to learn how it ended up with the victim.
