MANILA, Philippines – A letter indicating his live-in partner’s desire to end their relationship and text messages supposedly from her other lover drove Ruther Osio, 39, to kill her inside their home in Kasiglahan Village in Rodriguez, Rizal Tuesday afternoon.
Osio surrendered yesterday to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD). He admitted killing his partner, Marcela de la Paz, 32, by hitting her head with a chunk of wood.
He told Superintendent Marcelino Pedrozo Jr., commander of the QCPD Station 10, that he killed the victim because she was having an affair with another man.
