MANILA, Philippines – Two teenagers celebrating the first month of their relationship were shot dead in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City Saturday night.
Marlon Moralde, 19, and his girlfriend, 14-year-old Marian Gaudia, were in front of Moralde’s house at the corner of Adarna Extension and Kampupot street at around 9 p.m. when two men, wearing ski masks, stopped their motorcycle in front of the couple and started shooting.
Senior Police Officer 2 Roldan Dapat said that based on the spent shells recovered at the crime scene, one of the men used a .45 caliber pistol and the other a 9mm handgun.
Dapat said SPO1 Roldan Cornejo of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit has been tasked to conduct an investigation.
