MANILA, Philippines - The late Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredro wanted to cancel the firearms license of a Philip Morris executive who bullied and slapped a traffic enforcer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
According to MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino, Robredo called him last Thursday and asked if the agency needs any assistance in the quest for justice for then Traffic Constrable 1 Saturnino Fabros.
“He asked me if we need any assistance, perhaps in canceling the firearms license of Robert Blaire Carabuena,” Tolentino said yesterday.
