MANILA, Philippines - Congressmen-colleagues of the late Sorsogon Rep. Salvador “Sonny” Escudero III paid their last respects to him despite the bad weather.
In necrological services held at the House of Representatives, Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. described Escudero as a “very respected person and a good friend.”
Sen. Francis Escudero, the late congressman’s son, thanked his former House colleagues for their kind words.
