MANILA, Philippines - A resident of Las Piñas City won the 9,639,437.40 jackpot in the 6/42 lotto game Tuesday night.
Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager, said the still unidentified winner hit the winning combination of 16-39-36-07-18-04.
The winner bought his ticket at a lotto outlet along Naga street in Barangay Pulang Lupa, Las Piñas City.
The winner is the sixth instant millionaire for this month.
A 52-year-old government employee from Zamboanga del Sur claimed this week the P40 million jackpot in the Super Lotto 6/49 game last Sunday. Another player from Soliven town in Isabela province hit the P11,308,214.20 jackpot prize of the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw last Friday.
A player from Manila also won the P27,824,025.60 jackpot prize in the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw.
On Nov. 29, a 47-year-old vendor from Taytay, Rizal and a 60-year-old retiree shared the P134 million jackpot prize of the 6/55 Grand Lotto game.
