MANILA, Philippines - Eating vegetables can address infertility and impotence among men, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) said yesterday.
In a statement, PETA cited a recent study in Spain that showed that men who eat more processed meat and full-fat dairy products have poor quality sperm, while eating fruits and vegetables, which contain antioxidants, resulted in greater sperm strength and motility.
PETA also said obese men have more abnormal sperm, produce less semen, and lower levels of testosterone than men with normal weight.
