MANILA, Philippines - A fetus estimated to be four months old was discovered in the restroom of a fast-food joint in Quiapo, Manila Wednesday night.
Police said service crew member Paul Gonzales reported that he found the fetus wrapped in plastic in a cubicle while cleaning the women’s restroom.
He said he and his crew members did not notice any unusual movements of their customers. The fetus was brought to a funeral parlor for proper disposition.
The throwing of fetuses has been noticeably frequent in the Quiapo area, according to a policeman who requested anonymity. There are records showing that fetuses were also found in the Quiapo Church.
