MANILA, Philippines - Members of the Taguig Anti-Crime and Illegal Drugs (TACID) Task Force arrested an active member of the Philippine Air Force and five others allegedly caught sniffing shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in separate drug raids.
In his report to Taguig Mayor Sigfrido Tiñga, TACID chief Senior Inspector Ariel Solomon Bait said they were doing surveillance operations in Barangay Western Bicutan when they allegedly saw through the open door of Alexander Salazar’s house four people engaged in a shabu session.
They arrested Salazar, 39; A2C Eric Poclingan, 28; Kimberly Gosiengmiao, 26; and Len Ramos, 36.
Taguig police chief Senior Superintendent Camilo Pancratius Cascolan said Salazar has a pending drug case at the Taguig City Regional Trial Court.
TACID operatives were conducting an operation against illegal gambling in Barangay Upper Bicutan when they allegedly spotted Manuelito Mape, 26, and Rodolfo Alvarez, 32, in the middle of a shabu session inside Mape’s house.
Bait and his men recovered an undetermined amount of shabu and drug paraphernalia in both operations. – Rhodina Villanueva
