MANILA, Philippines - Itinigil na ng Maynilad Waters Inc. ang kanilang paghuhukay sa Aguinaldo highway sa Bacoor, Cavite matapos ang dry-run noong Abril 20 na nagdulot ng matinding trapik sa lugar.
Sinabi ni Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr., chairman ng senate committee on public works and highways, na itinigil ng Maynilad ang kanilang 5.5 pipe-laying project matapos silang umapela ni Mayor Strike Revilla.
“Instead of Aguinaldo highway, Maynilad will work along Longos to Evangelista roads. That is what they promised to me. I hope that they will keep their promis unless they want to encounter public protest again,” giit pa ng mambabatas. (Rudy Andal)
