Las Piñas Mayor Vergel Aguilar has ordered the city’s Public Employment Services Office (PESO) to come up with possible sources of livelihood for jobless residents.
Aguilar encouraged those with a limited budget for education to enroll in vocational and technical courses offered for free at the Las Piñas Manpower Training Center.
The city government has recently opened an information technology training center to provide free IT education to underprivileged students, who are expected to find jobs after a year of schooling. – Rhodina Villanueva
