Three persons were wounded when an electrician hurled a pillbox at the victims Saturday night in Caloocan City.
Police identified the victims as Maricel Tabaraza, Raul Nasam, and Rochelle Abas, all residents of Barangay 170 in Deparo, Caloocan City North.
The suspect, Francis Veloria, 34, an electrician, and a resident of Recomville Subdivision also in Barangay 170, reportedly threw a pillbox at the victims when they passed his house at around 8:30 p.m.
The suspect, who was drunk at the time, tried to escape but was arrested by patrolling barangay watchmen and was turned over to the custody of the police.
Police Officer 2 Allan Antonio said that the victims’ wounds were not life-threatening. He said they have yet to establish the suspect’s motive.
