To bring service closer to the public, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) opened another driver’s license renewal center at the Robinson’s Galleria at the Ortigas Commercial District.
Ricardo Tan, head of the LTO National Capital Region (NCR), said the center caters to drivers whose license has expired or those who want to change their address.
“Drivers with expired license can renew their license while enjoying the convenience and comfort of a first-class mall,” Tan said.
He called on license holders in neighboring subdivisions and residential condominiums to patronize the LTO-Robinson’s Galleria office, the fourth LTO center in a mall. The LTO has also put up offices at Robinsons Metro East, Farmers Market and SM Hypermart.
Tan said the branch can process their application for renewal or request for change of address in a few minutes.
He added that the amount the office will charge a client will be the same as that of any other LTO office in the country.
Tan said medical and drug test companies have also set up offices near the area so as not to inconvenience driver applicants.
The project was conceptualized by LTO Commissioner Reynaldo Berroya in a bid to upgrade the quality of service to the driving public. – Non Alquitran
