Daza said the incentive forms part of her program to provide educational assistance not only in the improvement of school facilities, but also to the development and advancement of public school students through the recognition of their efforts to excel and achieve the highest honors in their studies.
Funds amounting to P200,000 shall be derived from her congressional allocation to finance the incentives, Daza said.
Public education has received millions in funding for school projects since Dazas assumption as congresswoman of Quezon Citys fourth district. The lawmaker has relentlessly supported the budgetary requirements of the citys public elementary and high schools.
To date, the congresswoman has constructed and completed new classrooms, improved school playgrounds, and provided computer facilities that contribute to quality education for the citys children.
"More funds will be allocated to education, which is the key not only to personal achievement, but more so to the growth and development of our people and city," she said.
