Valenzuela laborer stabbed dead

Three alleged drug dependents are now being hunted by the police for stabbing dead a laborer Saturday afternoon in Valenzuela City.

Jonathan Paclibar and his two cohorts identified only as Oscar and William, all residents of Riverside St., Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City, were tagged by cops as the killers of Leo Julias.

Julias, a resident of De Gula Compound also in Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, died on the way to the Valenzuela General Hospital due to multiple stab wounds in the body.

Police said the victim was walking home at around 2:30 p.m. in Azcate Homes Subdivision in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon when waylaid by the suspects.

Armed with bladed weapons, the suspects mauled and took turns stabbing the victim. The suspects immediately fled after the incident.

Richard Valdez, who was passing by the crime scene, rushed Julias to the hospital but Julias was declared dead on arrival.

On the way to the hospital, Valdez said the victim named Paclibar and the two other suspects as his attackers.

In Navotas, the body found by a fisherman Friday floating on the shore in Barangay Bagumbayan North, was identified as that of Rogelio Flor, 35, a resident of Parola Compound in Tondo. — Pete Laude
