Chief Superintendent Nicasio Radovan, director of the Quezon City Police District, said Senior Police Officer 4 Giovanni Agas, 47, was caught with two others in possession of several drums and sacks of ingredients used in manufacturing shabu.
The raid on the compound, located on Rook Road in Mendoza, Village Project 8, was carried out following a complaint from a resident.
At around 10 p.m.. last Sunday, a certain Russia del Prado Torralba called police, claiming she was being harassed inside her house by a "drug crazed" policeman.
When police intelligence agents, led by Superintendent Rodolfo Jaraza, arrived at the compound at around 11:30 p.m., they discovered various chemicals and laboratory equipment used in the manufacture of shabu.
The items included four boxes containing bottles of Toluene and distilled water, 12 gallons of still unknown chemicals, two weighing scales and a gas mask.
A Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) team, led by Inspector Lisa Rillo, conducted the technical investigation and processed evidence seized during the raid.
Taken into custody with Agas were Raquel Arellano and Joe Marie Leaguso, the house helper.
