20-hour water cut-off in Parañaque, Pasay

Some areas of Parañaque and Pasay City will have no water for 20 hours starting at 11 p.m. tomorrow until 7 p.m. Friday.

The water service interruption is due to the installation of flow meters on existing mainlines along F.B. Harrison corner Aguarra, and along Roxas Boulevard corner Russel street, Pasay City.

The areas that will have no water for 20 hours are the following:

In Parañaque: Baltao, Sunvalley Drive, and Barangays Baclaran, Tramo, La Huerta, Dongalo, Sto. Niño, San Dionisio (from La Huerta boundary to Pelaez), and Vitales.

In Pasay: Domestic Road, Andrew Avenue (from Tramo to Tambo Bridge), Electrical Road, Pildera I and II, Rivera Village and Airlane Village.

There will also be a water service interruption in some areas of Manila for nine hours starting at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow due to work on Guadalcanal corner V. Mapa in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Areas that will have no water for nine hours include those along Guadalcanal from V. Mapa to R. Magsaysay Boulevard and R. Magsaysay (left side going to Nagtahan) from Guadalcanal to Old Sta. Mesa street.

Another area in Manila will have no water for 18 hours starting at 11 p.m. on Saturday. Affected are areas bounded by Estero de la Reina, Estero de Magdalena, Mayhaligue, Estero de Muelle de Binondo, and Pasig River, as well as those bounded by Estero de San Miguel, Arlegui, Quezon Boulevard, Lerma, España and Gov. Forbes.
