Water service cut-off in Manila, Pasay

A portion of Sampaloc, Manila will have no water for eight hours starting at 10 p.m. tomorrow, until 6 a.m.on Sunday.

The water service interruption is due to the installation of a 15-mm district meter along Batanes Extension, near corner Sobriedad street, Sampaloc, Manila.

The areas that will have no water for eight hours include those along Batanes Extension from Sobriedad to Matimyas streets.

There will also be a water service interruption in some areas of Pasay City for 12 hours starting at 11 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, until 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17. This is due to the installation of a fullbore flow meter on the existing 400-mm mainline along Roxas Blvd., corner V. Sotto, Pasay City.

Areas that will have no water for 12 hours include the CCP Complex, Folk Arts Theater, Philippine International Convention Center, Philippine Plaza Hotel and Star City in Pasay.
