Members of the Pasay police along with the Southern Police District-Scene of the Crime Office proceeded to the area at around 7:30 a.m. yesterday after a group of street children stumbled upon the body while playing in the area.
According to the SPD-SOCO, the victim was probably dead for some two months based on the condition of the body.
The victim, whose age was estimated to be around 18 to 20 years old, was found completely naked in a grassy area of the Libertad Pumping Station in front of the GSIS building along Macapagal Avenue.
Investigators also found a pair of blue-colored shorts, dirty white T-shirt, a black bra and panties near the body of the victim. A man’s underwear was also discovered near the clothes of the victim.
A large crack in the skull of the victim was the only injury seen on the body, which was already unrecognizable because of decomposition.
The victim was then struck in the head using a hard object, causing her skull to crack, leading to her death.
The body now lies at the Rizal Funeral Homes in Pasay City. – Marvin Sy
