The suspects, all seniors of San Francisco High School in North Edsa, are now detained at the Central Police District headquarters as they await the filing of proper charges.
The victim, whose name is being withheld, is a resident of Barangay Commonwealth. She is currently receiving medical treatment.
Initial reports showed that the incident took place at about 11 p.m. Friday inside one of the suspect’s house on Seminary Road, Barangay Bahay-Toro. The victim’s father saw his own daughter being raped when he went inside the house to take her home.
Police said the three high school seniors got the girl drunk during the birthday party of one of the suspects.
The girl, who is an acquaintance of the three suspects, was one of the guests at the party. A drinking session was going on and a short time later the victim got drunk.
Police said that the three boys took advantage of the situation and took the girl to the backyard of the house. Once there, they took turns raping the victim, who later said she could not fight them off.
The girl’s father then arrived to fetch his daughter and was shocked to see one of the suspects on top of her. He immediately alerted authorities and responding policemen arrived on the scene.
The three boys were apprehended and brought to the police station while the victim was taken to the East Avenue Medical Center.
