CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested Thursday afternoon a man for possession of a deadly weapon in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City.
Neighbors called police when they saw Junrey del Castillo, 18, with a 9-inch knife tucked in his waist.
“Notado naman gud ni siyang kanunay nga momugna og kaguliyang sa ilang lugar mao sulti sa mga tawo didto busa nanawag og polis,” SPO1 Reynaldo Urot said.
When frisked, the police also found shabu and tinfoil in Castillo’s possession.
The man is now detained at the Subangdaku police station. – (FREEMAN)
