CEBU, Philippines - A 35-year-old man, who drove a trisikad for a living, was stabbed while buying cigarettes Friday night in barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City.
Bengir Garcia, who lives in sitio Saac 1, barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City was taken to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
Garcia identified his assailant as a certain “Mata,” who lives in the same place.
Garcia said he remembered accusing “Mata” of stealing his things a week ago and his alleged attacker might have resented it.
The police couldn’t find “Mata” at his residence. – THE FREEMAN
