CEBU, Philippines - Chong Hua Hospital will soon put up another general hospital in Mandaue City.
The Mandaue City council has adopted the resolution approved by the local health board of the city which endorses the application of Chong Hua Hospital to put up another general hospital.
City Councilor Demetrio “Jun” Cortes has sponsored a resolution which adopts the local health board resolution dated June 11, supporting the establishment of a Chong Hua Hospital in the city.
The local health board’s resolution states that the establishment of a hospital in the city is an ingredient with the city’s vision to become a premiere business destination in Central Philippines in 2016.
The board resolution also states that the establishment of a Chong Hua Hospital in the city will provide quality health care to the city’s 346,693 population as it will also be beneficial to the residents living in the northern part of Cebu as well as the whole of region 7.
The hospital will rise adjacent the Bogo-Hagnaya Road and an arterial road of Metro Cebu and Mantawi Drive, a traffic converging point and an alternate route leading to the Mactan Cebu International Airport and the Nothern part of Cebu. – THE FREEMAN
