CEBU, Philippines - The body of a 37-year-old construction worker was found floating in the seawaters off sitio Lawis in barangay Suba-Basbas, Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday afternoon.
The man was identified as Roger Espinosa, married, a construction worker who resided in sitio Tribu, barangay Suba-Basbas.
Danny Bacalso, a resident of place found the body about 15 meters from the shoreline.
Initial investigation conducted by the police revealed that Espinosa was seen drunk while walking towards sitio Lawis at around 12:00 noon and went swimming.
PO1 Neron Ivan Sarsuelo of police station 4 said no open wounds or bruises that would indicate involvement of foul play were found. - THE FREEMAN
