CEBU, Philippines - The Lapu-Lapu City government has set aside P51.2 million for the operation of the two city-run hospitals, namely, the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital and the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital.
The operation of the two hospitals in Lapu-Lapu City was turned over by the Cebu provincial government to the city after the city was declared as a highly urbanized city.
The city hospital will get P42,499,338 while the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital will get P8,733,083.
Next year, hospital authorities hope to purchase more equipment. - THE FREEMAN
