CEBU, Philippines - The police department in Lapu-Lapu City will get P12.1 million next year from the city government for the purchase of additional equipment, training and seminars for its personnel.
The amount is reflected in the more than P1 billion annual budget for next year.
Lapu-Lapu City Police Chief Senior Superintendent Anthony Obenza submitted his plans and programs to the city council, the basis for his request for funds for next year.
His programs include seminars for barangay tanods especially on methods/techniques in making arrests, and pulong-pulongs. (FREEMAN)
