CEBU, Philippines - One of two men who attempted to steal a motorcycle yesterday in Ramona Village, barangay San Isidro left behind a bag containing, among others, his identification card.
Police said the owner of the card resides in sitio Lawis, barangay Maghaway, Talisay City.
Motorcycle owner Felix Calledo was awakened at 3:00 a.m. by dogs barking and when he checked what the commotion was all about, he said he saw two men lifting his XRM 110 Honda motorcycle (3351-GA) and bringing it towards a waiting red KIA car bearing a "265" plate number.
The motorcycle was parked in front of the Calledos' yard.
Calledo's son, Jessie, said he shouted at the two men to stop andThe two men dropped the motorcycle and ran toward their car, leaving behind a bag.
Apart from the identification card, police also found inside the bag a bank passbook, receipts, a physical therapist's book, a rain coat, a motorcycle's side mirror, and other personal stuff.
PO2 Roy Lofranco, one of the responding police, said he had seen the man before at the station.
Yesterday, the police went to the man's house to invite him to the
