CEBU, Philippines - Two persons were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (CAIDSOTF) Saturday night in Zone Monggos, barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City.
The team, led by CAIDSOTF chief P/Insp. Henric Bancoleta arrested Reynaldo Besabella, 47, married, and a resident of the area.
Besabella's arrest was effected after he turned over a sachet believed to contain shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P200.
When frisked, four other small packs believed to contain shabu were found from his possession.
The police also arrested Besabella's companion, Gilbert Sara, 25, also a resident of the place. Drug paraphernalia was seized from him.
Both suspects are now detained at the Centro police station pending the filing of charges against them.
