CEBU, Philippines - Job seekers from Consolacion and Liloan towns will be given priority once the SM Mall in Consolacion opens late this year.
This was the assurance made by the officials of SM Mall in a meeting with officials of the two towns recently.
Although SM will also hire job applicants from other towns, but Consolacion and Liloan officials asked the management of SM Mall to prioritize the residents of the two municipalities.
Foxter Mindajao, coordinator of the Public Employment and Service Office, said he was happy with the assurance made by the management of SM Mall.
Mindajao said the town is also supporting those who apply for jobs at the Mactan Export Processing Zone in Lapu-Lapu City.
