MANILA, Philippines - Since Japanese retail chain Uniqlo and French fashion icon Inès de la Fressange unveiled their first collaboration in 2014, we knew it was a match made in retail heaven. Three years and seven collections later, we’re chuffed to see that this love affair is still going strong. This time, the Frenchwoman draws inspiration from the vibrant scenery of Marseille, a port city in the southern part of France, to breathe new life into Uniqlo’s signature silhouettes. From lawn-check tunics and polka-dotted flare skirts to rainbow-striped crewneck sweaters and pinstripe linen blazers, plays on color, fabrication and pattern feature widely in the 75-piece collection.
